The Surrounding ski regions are a skiers paradise. With many lifts and cable cars, boasting the new family express (8 seat chair lift). With cross country ski trails, natural ice skating rinks, ice curling, sleigh rides, toboggan runs, tubeing, cosy restaurants, indoor pool and sauna, with the occasional discothèque there really is nothing that we can't organize for your stay here with us at THE FARBERHAUS IN LOFER.

New for this year is the Gondala from the bottom to middle station , this will be ready for December 2011 and staying with us in Lofer you are only 35 mins from Salzburg, 35 mins from Leogang and this lift connects you to Saalbach Hinterglemm. and 45 min into the Tyrol is the Ski Welt which has 247 km of Piste.

Lofer and the neighbouring villages offer many activities. Over 75 km of footpath walks, and 300 km of hiking paths, there are also 2 heated open air swimming pools, for children, playgrounds, sports fields, tennis courts, inline skating, fun park , white water paddling and rafting, 

a gondola cable way, folk evenings, folk theatre, coach excursions, and the “Saalachtaler Naturgewalten”, the well known caves and gorges of lamprechtshöhle Seisenberg-Vorderkaserklamm. With your summer break, you will receive a Saalachtaler Summer Card, which will cover you for : Loferer Alm cable-car 1 (loderbishl) return journey.
