Scheffsnoth is just the other side of the saalachtal river which is directly at the rear of the house . This is an adjoining part to lofer where you can mountain bike to the mountain restaurant and continue into the next village of Unken, or take a leasurly strole through the many walking paths in the area, if you would like to hire bikes then we can arrange this for you whether daily or for a week.

A worth while trip to take if you have a few hours free would be to cycle to Unken there are many ,many cycle tracks here in Lofer to take but for one of the more  relaxing ride we would recommend this track. When you set of from the Farberhaus a 15 minute ride and you come to the pretty village called Reith, which is situated only 3km from Unken where you can stop for a coffee or beer and then be on your way again. Between Reith and Unken there is a stop where you leave your bikes and walk up through the Gorge there have been stairs made so you can take in the centuries of water flowing that has made this a worthwhile stop off and experients that you won't forget on your holiday . Having done this ride and many other we can offer to take you on the best routes depending on how far you would like to go.
