The Farberhaus is in the Idyllic village of Lofer. This 200 year old guest house is set in a prime location in the village, just 3 minutes from the village centre, and only 4 minutes from the ski lift.
Lofer, and the surrounding villages (St Martin, Unken and Weißbach), are situated in the Pinzgauer Saalach valley, in the province of Salzburg. All 4 resorts, are wind protected and fog free by the surrounding mountains, making this the perf ect family holiday location.

In the Summer :
Lofer and the neighbouring villages offer many activities. Over 75 km of footpath walks, and 300 km of hiking paths, there are also 2 heated open air swimming pools, for children, playgrounds, sports fields, tennis courts, inline skating, fun park, white water paddling and rafting, a gondola cable way, folk evenings, folk theatre, coach excursions, and the “Saalachtaler Naturgewalten”, the well known caves and gorges of lamprechtshöhle Seisenberg-Vorderkaserklamm. With your summer break, you will receive a Saalachtaler summer card, which will cover you for : Loferer Alm cable-car 1 (loderbishl) return journey. In the Winter :
The Surrounding ski regions are a skiers paradise. With many lifts and cable cars, boasting the new family express (6 seat chair lift). With cross country ski trails, natural ice skating rinks, ice curling, sleigh rides, toboggan runs, cosy restaurants, indoor pool and sauna, with the occasional discothèque.This resort is very family orientated but will also suit all ages.
